will support SAFEST’s English as a Second Language programs.

Here are some of the organisations responding to the Rohingya refugee crisis. Some are trying to gain access to restricted areas of the western state of Rakhine in Myanmar, where many ethnic Rohingya Muslims remain. Most of the aid has been focused on camps in Bangladesh where hundreds of thousands have fled over the past month. Myanmar’s Rakhine State have escalated dramatically since late August 2017. A series of attacks by a group of Rohingya militants calling itself
the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) on military and police outposts killed more than seventy people, including twelve Burmese security forces personnel. In response, the military launched a brutal crackdown on Rohingya villages, causing over seven hundred thousand people to flee across the border to Bangladesh since August 2017. Widespread reports indicate indiscriminate killings and burning of Rohingya villages, escalating to the point that the UN Human Rights Commissioner called the situation in Rakhine State “a textbook example of ethnic cleansing.” The violence has led to a growing humanitarian crisis in neighbouring Bangladesh, where nearly one million Rohingya now reside in refugee camps along the border.

World Hijab Day :
World Hijab Day is an annual event founded by Nazma Khan in 2013. The event takes place on 1 February each year in 140 countries worldwide. Its stated purpose is to encourage women of all religions and backgrounds to wear and experience the hijab. Many women that are out there are getting harassed just because of the way they dress ,their religion and their looks. So this is the day where we dedicate for all the hijabi women that are out there respecting their religion and bringing out there happiness Assembly with safest 15 group: Our team discusses all the problems that are going on in our community giving all the care that is needed to make our community fit. Our team is trying our best to keep the community that’s around us safe and show how we as a team ,as a community can work together to make our community fit. Prayer for Camara : A man UN agency shot And killed at a Bronx shop employee with a gun he snatched from an NYPD officer was sentenced Wednesday to twenty years to life in jail. Efram Guzman fatally shot 49-year-old Wali Camara, UN agency at the time was warning another store in Bedford Park regarding Guzman being a problematic client UN agency was mendicancy for cash. It happened at A&M food shop on East 198th Street and Valentine Avenue, wherever Guzman allegedly tried to urge behind the counter and mistreated employees. Camara ran over to assist them. Officers were making an attempt to escort Guzman out of the shop once police say he managed to grab a service weapon from one amongst the officer’s holsters and laid-off fifteen rounds, hanging Camara within the leg. He died from a shot wound to his right thigh that cut his artery. Our prayer are for Camara and his family.

Khanam’s son, Nazmul Khan, asked that Queens Supreme court Judge Michael Aloise hand down the harshest sentence on his mother’s killer. “This guy killed my mother for nothing,” Khan said adding, “I miss my mother all the time.” Khanam’s nephew, Officer Humayun Kabir, told the judge through tears, “She didn’t deserve to be killed the way she was.” Through a translator Galvez Marin, a Colombian immigrant, whined, “I left all my loved ones to come and look for a better future and give my parents a better older age. We as a community are tired of hearing the killings that going on around us . We are terrified and hurt of all the innocent people getting killed. We are trying our best to prevent this and going on strike trying to save all the innocent people that out there every live matter , no matter what race you are nor religion, and gender. It’s our duty to protect the lives that is out there and go against the people that are killing them.
Zakir Khan :
SAFEST held an event for 44-year-old Zakir Khan, WHO came to the US from Bangladesh within the eighth grade, was killed, in line with police, over a rent dispute along with his landholder. 51-year-old Taha Mahran is charged with second-degree murder in association to the case. Khan’s family was upstairs in their home and detected his screams for facilitate. Zakir khan didn’t pay his rent for few months so Taha Mahran chose to take Zakir khans life. We want justice for Zakir khan as people say that he was a peaceful person not harming anyone but yet Taha Mahran had to take his like just because he didn’t pay his rent.

Rohingya Genocide :
