Not One More Killed
We as a community are tired of hearing the killings that going on around us . We are terrified and hurt of all the innocent people getting killed. We are trying our best to prevent this and going on strike trying to save all the innocent people that out there every live matter , no matter what race you are nor religion, and gender. It’s our duty to protect the lives that is out there and go against the people that are killing them.
The Rohingya putting to death may be a series of in progress persecutions by the Myanmar government against the Muslim Rohingya individuals. The putting to death has consisted of 2 phases to date: the primary occurred from October 2016 to Gregorian calendar month 2017 and also the second has been occurring since August 2017. The crisis forced over 1,000,000 Rohingya to escape to different countries. On 23 January 2020, the International Court of Justice ordered Myanmar to prevent genocidal violence against its Rohingya Muslim minority and to preserve evidence of past attacks.
Right To Tap Water
Everyone has equal right to tap water. Water is a basic human right, Please standup for these residents who are being deprived of it. Over 50 people including the children and senior citizens, have no tap water for weeks, and authorities have turned blind eyes on these “Brighton Beach Residents” .
Vote For Jamaica Community Leaders
Vote for Jamaica community leader as they will be serving justice for the community and making sure everything is all well. They will fight for what’s right and trying to give all the rights for the people that are in need. Also they will be discussing what best for the community and how we can improve as a team to work together and make everyone feel safe.
Learning Lab By Spectrum
The Spectrum Learning Lab at SAFEST is one of the 32 that Spectrum has
established at nonprofit and community organizations across New York
City. The Spectrum Learning Lab will be particularly beneficial for
developing digital learning strategies that will equip immigrants
with the skills they need to secure a job or build a business. The Lab also
will support SAFEST’s English as a Second Language programs.
It is fully equipped with state-of-the-art computers and other peripheral equipment provided by Spectrum. As part of the Learning Labs, the company provides Internet access to community organisations at no charge. The company’s commitment to the Learning Lab includes Spectrum Internet and TV services, computer equipment and software, flat-screen HDTVs and other furnishings.
SAFEST held an event for 44-year-old Zakir Khan, WHO came to the US from Bangladesh within the eighth grade, was killed, in line with police, over a rent dispute along with his landholder. 51-year-old Taha Mahran is charged with second-degree murder in association to the case. Khan’s family was upstairs in their home and detected his screams for facilitate. Zakir khan didn’t pay his rent for few months so Taha Mahran chose to take Zakir khans life. We want justice for Zakir khan as people say that he was a peaceful
person not harming anyone but yet Taha Mahran had to take his like just because he didn’t pay his rent.
